Henglan has issued more than 50 million yuan worth of special bonds for water treatment and signed an agreement on commissioned construction with Zhongshan Public Water Environment Management Co Ltd.

So far this year, Henglan has fulfilled 131% of the annual target (32.6 kilometers) set in the city's overall work program for water pollution treatment, and 122% of the annual target (35 kilometers) of new sewage pipe network construction set in Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress' Motion No.1.

Phase 3 of the Henglan Sewage Treatment Plant is Zhongshan's first integrated semi-buried sewage treatment plant that broke ground in early September. The project is expected to be launched for commissioning by late July 2023.
