Guangdong issues alerts for thunderstorms today, tips for residents
An outbreak of moderate thunderstorms tore through Guangdong from north to south starting last night until this early morning, and heavy rains barreled through parts of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Zhongshan and other cities, according to the province’s meteorological observatory. As of 8:50 am, 14 cities in Guangdong have issued orange alerts for rainstorms, and 139 regions have issued yellow alerts.
